SUNDAY SCHOOL AND ADULT BIBLE STUDY – As we return to our regular worship schedule (8:30 AM and 11:00 AM) on Sundays, please join us for age-appropriate group studies at 9:45 AM between services.
WELCOME ALLYSSA GUYNES – Our DCE intern has arrived! Allyssa will be with us for the next 10 months and will be working in various areas of educational ministry in the congregation.
BEGINNER’S BIBLE STUDY – The Thursday night Beginner’s Bible Study has started up again on Thursdays at 7 pm in the Little House. This study is intended for those who don’t have a great deal of Bible experience. We would love to have you come and learn with us!
MITE DONATIONS of $110 were sent to Lutheran Women for mission projects. Some goes to reach Muslims seeking contacts via POBLO in California (www.poblo.org), and the rest goes to help the Navajo people in the Rocky Mountain District with youth camps, support groups, Bible Studies and women’s health education. There is more information about these projects in the church entry. Help yourself to a Mite Box and fill it with “mites”- pocket change and even paper money.
ALL SINGERS are welcome to join the choir which will begin rehearsing on Wednesday evenings starting Aug 30th, 7:30-9:00 PM in the church loft.
