Order of Worship for July 26

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Peace to you! We continue with our outdoor worship services and we will for the foreseeable future. While these circumstances for worship have presented some challenges to us, I am very grateful for your faithfulness in attendance and for God’s provision of such a lovely outdoor space where they may be conducted.

Today’s sermon focuses on a very popular verse that we often quote to those going through difficulties. Romans 8:28, And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who have been called according to His purpose. The key to understanding that passage is that we know what God means by “good”.  Today’s sermon points out to us that the “good” God intends here is an eternal good, not a temporary relief.
