WOMEN’S GROUPS
Shepherd Women’s group is open to all women and teen gals attending Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, and their friends.

Shepherd Women is part of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML), an auxiliary of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, Zone 18 (San Jose, Morgan Hill, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale churches), California-Nevada-Hawaii (CNH) District, and the National LWML. All are encouraged to participate in its events (retreats, rallies, conventions) throughout the year for personal spiritual growth, a richer prayer life, retreating into the Word of God, and enjoying fellowship with other Christian sisters.
Shepherd Women give monetarily through mites (loose change) for on-going District and National Mission Projects. Drop your change in the the large wooden mite box in the narthex, or take a smaller one to put on your dresser at home, and bring it back full!
Shepherd Women / LWML focuses on …
- Richer Spiritual Living through Bible Study and prayer
- Global Awareness for Ministry
- Avenues for God-blessed Service
- Assisting other women in their walk with Jesus
Come join us! You are always welcome!
