Brothers and sisters in Christ,
We are now in the Fifth Sunday of Easter and while we all hoped to be back to church by this time, I want to continue to do a couple of things. First, stay home and safe. As hard as it is, this is the best thing we can do right now. The other thing is I want to encourage you to be thankful that God has supplied us with tools and technology that allow us to gather around His Word remotely. Prayerfully we will assemble soon, but these gifts God gives to sustain us until that time.
Today’s sermon text is especially appropriate for us in times of fear and uncertainty. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me.†(John 14:1) By keeping our eyes and faith upon Jesus, we can get through times that trouble our hearts.
Today’s worship service once again has closed caption capabilities and the words that you will need to sing or say will appear at the bottom of the screen, if you turn the closed captioning on.
In Christ’s name and service,
Pastor Robert Weller
