Brothers and sisters in Christ,
I pray that these Psalms studies are beneficial to you. They have been a great encouragement to me in preparing them. I will continue to provide these online bible studies while we must remain distanced from one another. Next month I am looking into the possibility of doing a once-a-week online Zoom bible study. If that comes about, we will continue with the Psalms studies being recorded and sent out, but they will be reduced to one a week and we will do a different bible study for the Zoom get together.
This next week my family and I are going to take a couple days of vacation and so there won’t be any Psalms studies put out next week. I pray that this will be a refreshing time for Lisa, Luke, and I to be away and just be in a different environment than we have been cooped up in for the last few months. I won’t be missing any Sundays and we will still have services on the lawn at 9 and 11 am. Since we may now have up to 60 at those services there is no need to register ahead of time as we had been doing.
Psalm 20 is a pre-battle prayer and liturgy of the people and the king. It reminds us that our strength and hope is found in the Lord and in the name of the Lord!
