Order of Worship for July 19

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Today’s worship is filled with calls to prayer. Our opening hymn is “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and our sermon hymn is “Come, My Soul, With Every Care”. The Introit is an invitation to prayer. The sermon today is focused on the last 2 verses of the Epistle reading, Romans 8:26-27, and reminds us that we have one who prays with and for us, namely the Holy Spirit. He is the Great Prayer Warrior! What the world needs right now is a church committed to prayer. I pray that this service moves us to a deeper prayer life.

As a reminder there will be no online bible studies sent out this week as my family and I will be away for a few days.
