We have reached Psalm 26 in our study of the psalms. Today’s psalm is focused especially on the very familiar verse, “Lord, I love the habitation of Your house and the place where your glory dwells.†Some consider Psalm 26 an entrance liturgy for those coming up to the temple. It may very well be since the temple would have been the place where God’s glory dwelt. The psalm also addresses the spiritual integrity of David as he compares himself with others. David doesn’t consider himself sinless, but he does consider himself faithful to God.
On September 17th we will begin a weekly bible study using Zoom at 7 pm. I will send out a link for the Zoom next week along with some instructions about how it will work. That Thursday night study will focus on 1 and 2 Peter. I hope you are able to join us for that. I will also continue to send out a psalm study once a week.
In Christ’s name and service,
Pastor Robert Weller
